Time Out Bookstore will be adopting a kitten in a couple of weeks and we are currently running a competition to come up with a name for this new member of staff.
We have a jar on the counter and our customers have been submitting up to two names (we don't know if we're getting a boy or a girl). We are giving a $100 book voucher to the person who comes up with our favourite moniker.
We have had some great submissions so far and of course literary references are always favoured (as was the case the late Oscar (Wilde) may he rest in peace - pic left).If you would like to suggest a name or two send us an email books@timeout.co.nz with your suggestions and your phone number.
