Arts on Sunday for 21 February 2010
Radio New Zealand National

Two items to particularly listen out for:

12:50pm
Creative New Zealand’s latest restructure – slimming down the board will save an estimated 200-thousand dollars but the Arts Minister Chris Finlayson says it’s not just about the money. You’ll hear all the details of the changes from the Minister, the head of CNZ Alistair Carruthers, and from art collector and blogger, Jim Barr.

2:30pm
A new anthology of New Zealand short stories, this time based around the theme of things that get lost in translation… and Christchurch crime writer Paul Cleave, who’s sold almost three-quarters of a million books, translated into 7 languages, on the secret of his success and his latest book Blood Men.
