Nick Bollinger and Chris
Bourke are heading out for some blues in
the night (and day). A three-day road trip in the central North Island to
share tall stories, sounds and images of New Zealand pop, historic and
contemporary: not just ‘Blue Smoke’ and ‘Blue Beat’ but ‘Blue Lady’ and into
the wild blue yonder. Nick’s book 100 Essential New Zealand Albums (Awa
Press) is a great conversation starter: what would you have included? Was he
unfair to Schtung? John Hanlon?
