Writing London - a tour

Writing London

It provides a whistle-stop tour of literary London that includes sites as varied as the block of flats where George Orwell and H.G. Wells fell out over curry and plum cake, Julian Barnes at the National Gallery, J.G. Ballard in Docklands, Alan Bennett’s harsh but accurate summary of Camden Town's distinctive aroma, and a brief attempt to maintain the pace of James Boswell's enthusiastic womanising.
Great fun. Wished I had been there longer so I could have spent some days walking around all 61 properties.
