For a while there, it seemed like the odds were stacked against Peter Jackson's two-film production of The Hobbit, but today, Jackson and crew finally, finally wrapped production on the project's 266th day. (That is very nearly the span of four Kim Kardashian marriages, to judge by modern pop culture's prevalent measuring yardstick.) They won't have much time off to celebrate, though: Jackson is due at Comic-Con this week to promote the first Hobbit film, out this winter.
