It is the only public signing for David Beckham (Headline) and will take place at Waterstones Piccadilly at 10am. Fans will have their books signed on a first come, first served basis and are advised to queue early to avoid disappointment. The first 500 people will get the chance to meet Beckham and have their books signed.Larissa Prockter, events manager for Waterstones said: “We are thrilled to have David at London’s best bookshop for his only public signing of David Beckham—this will be our last major event of the year and what a way to finish! I’ve never had so many volunteers to help from head office.
"It’s a great Christmas treat for David’s countless fans—we can’t wait.”
Beckham's Piccadilly signing will be an opportunity to boost sales of the title, which has sold 27,000 copies since publication on 31st October. The memoir of his former manager at Manchester United, Alex Ferguson (Hodder & Stoughton), by contrast, has sold 568,000 copies since hitting shelves on 24th October.
On October 30th, Beckham held a digital book signing in a live broadcast via his Facebook page.
