The poet Philip Larkin, who died in 1985, is to receive a memorial floor stone in the Poets' Corner of London's Westminster Abbey.
The stone will be unveiled on December 2 2016, the 31st anniversary of Larkin's death.
The Dean of Westminster, the Very Rev Dr John Hall, told the BBC: "Philip Larkin is one of the great poets of the 20th Century in English and it's been pressed on me by a number of his colleagues and friends that it's the right time to memorialise him." More
