Quarterly Magazine for Children's Literature to Launch This Winter
U.K.-based co-founders Sarah Odedina and Kate Manning have announced the launch of a new magazine on children's literature. The Read Quarterly will look at the international culture of children's books, regularly featuring stories about publishers, book creators, and the tradition of children's literature in a humorous and critical way. The first issue is expected in January 2016. more


'What Pet Should I Get?' Sells 200K in First Week
In its first week on sale, 'What Pet Should I Get?,' the new book by Dr. Seuss, sold 200,000 copies, making it the fastest-selling picture book in the history of Random House Children's Books, according to the publisher. more
