Divine Muses XII
An evening of poetry with
readings from six of New Zealand’s finest poets:

Siobhan Harvey
Maris
O'Rourke
Harry
Ricketts
Jack Ross
Each poet will read a
selection of poems from recent and past collections.
A highlight of the
evening will be the announcement of the 2015 winners of the NEW VOICES - Emerging
Poets Competition. This years Judge, Rosetta Allan, was a highly commended in
the 2013 NEW VOICES competition and has since published her first novel Purgatory with Penguin who describe it
as “a startling, gripping novel from an
immensely talented new author.” We
are delighted to welcome her back as judge for this year’s event.

At the close of the evening there
will be an opportunity to buy books from each of the poets, have them signed, or
purchase a Poetry Broadsheets featuring a poem from one of this year’s Divine
Muses and printed by some of New Zealand’s finest letterpress printers.
