Great idea from Booksellers New Zealand: Win book tokens and be published!

Dad! Can you read me a story?
In celebration of Father’s Day, we want you to tell us about a favourite book you remember reading with your dad.

From much-loved bedtime stories, to well-thumbed chapter books, over the years dads around the country have been patiently reading stories to their kids – over and over again. He has wholeheartedly reenacted Red Riding Hood’s high-pitched ‘what big teeth you have’, woofed along joyfully with Hairy Maclary, and has done his best to get his tongue around Green Eggs and Ham after a beer and long day at work.
Tell us about your favourite – and be in to win!

Despite accidentally ‘skipping’ the odd page, dads have read to their kids, creating memories that last a lifetime. These memories will be forever linked to the books themselves – and we want to hear about your favourite – so please email us at dad@booksellers.co.nz by Wednesday 26 August with your memory (50 words or less). Please include your name, age and postal
address in the email.

All entries will be published on the Bookseller NZ website, and the three
winning stories will be published in the Capital Times in Wellington on
Wednesday 2 September – in celebration of books and dads!*

WIN a $100 Booksellers Token or Award-winning New Zealand Book for Father’s Day
Three winners will be selected to receive a $100 Booksellers Token (in time for Father’s Day).

All entries will go into the draw to win one of 20 award-winning New Zealand books from the 2009 Montana New Zealand Book Awards (books will be randomly selected – it could be a glossy coffee table book or a gripping fiction read).
