STOP PRESS -Shaun Tan has been awarded the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award for Older Readers for Tales from Outer Suburbia.

He has just been presented his award and will now be lunching with the other winners at Seaworld. As I'm sure you know, the CBCA Book of the Year is the highest award in Australia for children's books and a great honour.
