Things looking up for Fox: Michael J. Fox, the actor turned political activist, says he's not a "real writer," unlike his brother-in-law, Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food). But Fox's second memoir, Always Looking Up, lands at No. 18 on the list after TV appearances that included Good Morning America, The Late Show With David Letterman and The Daily Show. Fox's 2002 memoir, Lucky Man, entered the list at No. 4, moved up to No. 3 a week later and spent 14 weeks in the Top 150. Fox, 47, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1998, says his second book is less structured and more "loosey goosey" than the first. It's filled with his reflections on work, politics, faith and family.
