Wandering around Strand Books today I came across this handsome novel with its gorgeous endpapers and on reading the blurb found it was book about a book by admired Aussie-born American journalist author Geraldine Brooks.
What could I do but buy it? Oh dear, more weight in the bag. Perhaps I should take it as carry-on and read it all, the way home?
