Twilight Sweeps Teen Choice Awards

The adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" nabbed nine prizes at the Teen Choice Awards, promising more book sales for the bestselling series.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the film earned best drama, actor, actress, villain, and five other awards--bringing home surfboard-shaped prizes in a media event hosted by the Jonas Brothers. The adaptation of "New Moon," the sequel to "Twilight," will arrive in theaters in November, undoubtedly extending Meyer's bestselling streak.
Check it out: "The vampire drama won for choice drama, romance, liplock, rumble, drama actress for Kristen Stewart, drama actor for Robert Pattinson, villain for Cam Gigandet, fresh face female for Ashley Greene and fresh face male for Taylor Lautner, who will also appear in the upcoming sequel, 'New Moon.'"
