NEW ZEALAND BEST SELLER LISTS

Maritime historian and author, Joan Druett, offers some advice to NZ authors published overseas on how to make these lists. It seems they are discriminated against, and that is not the only problem with these controversial and much criticised best sellers lists. Check out Joan's story on her blog.

Thanks for the link to Joan's blog - another one to keep an eye on each day and further procrastinate from writing.

I have never trusted these lists regarding them at best as simply marketing tools.
However occasionally they bring a title to my notice that I may not have otherwise noted.
And I guess they must be useful as ego boosting for authors who are oftern otherwise often much maligned?
