Self-published memoirist Peter Farrell, publishing consultant Geoff Walker and an author with experience of both self-publishing and traditional publishing,Melinda Szymanik, assess the merits and pitfalls of self-publishing.
Chairing was Beattie’s BookBlog author and former publisher, Graham Beattie.
A lively question and answer session with attendees was a feature of this well--attended session that looked at the question of "why self publish" along with "pros and cons of self publishiunbg versus publishing via traditional book publishers". More time was needed.
