After little has been said by literary agents about the ongoing retail terms dispute between Amazon and Hachette, the Association of Authors' Representatives has fired an arrow--albeit a verbal one--at the retail giant.
In a letter sent by the AAR to Amazon, which PW has obtained, the organization
says it "deplores any attempt by any party that would seek to injure and
punish innocent authors – and their innocent readers -- in order to pursue its
