AUTHOR
Doug Wilson has worked at
the forefront of medical research for many years and this year received the Distinguished Biotechnologist of
the Year Award at the NZBIO Conference. However
his first love has always been the telling and writing of stories. Since an early age, Doug dreamed of being be
an author. But he struggled with
dyslexia when trying to write and became sidetracked with a successful medical
career until he finally began telling stories once again when recounting
fantastic tales of the boy-adventurer, Tom Hassler to the grandchildren.
