This superb Jane Ussher photograph of Denise L'Estrange-Corbet is featured on the cover of the New Zealand Listener this week.

L'Estrange-Corbet is well known as partner, along with Francis Cooper, in the fashion label WORLD, but not as well known is her life-long battle with depression. Story by Amanda Spratt.

My main reason however for mentioning the Listener this week is to offer my congratulations to all concerned on the most attractive new layout and design. It has been rejuvenated with a classy new typeface, a clean uncluttered look, new columnists, and enhanced navigation features.

I like it, and the 14 page Arts & Books is a knockout. Well done guys.
