Inman new m.d. at Aurum Publishing Group

 
David Inman has been appointed as the the new m.d. of the Aurum Publishing Group.
Inman, who is currently sales and marketing director of Templar, part of Bonnier Publishing, will take on the role in September, looking after Aurum Press, Frances Lincoln, Frances Lincoln Children's Books, Jacqui Small and Apple Press.
Before his role at Templar, Inman was sales and marketing director at The Quarto Group, Aurum's parent company. He has spent more than 15 years in the trade and illustrated co-edition book sector, holding senior management positions at Hachette in Paris and Octopus, as well as being a co-founder of Boxtree.

Marcus Leaver, c.e.o. of The Quarto Group said: “David is a welcome addition to the Quarto management team. His breadth of experience in illustrated publishing and knowledge of all the parts of the Quarto business make him the perfect candidate to lead the very talented and committed team we have at the Aurum Publishing Group.”
Inman said he was “looking forward to setting the group on new paths of growth, creativity and innovation across all its imprints and firmly cementing its position as part of the world’s leading illustrated publishing group.”

Former APG m.d. David Graham left the company in June.
