Exisle Publishing to represent Callisto Media in New Zealand and Australia.

Press Release

Exisle Publishing is excited to announce they are now representing US publisher Callisto Media in New Zealand and Australia.

Callisto Media publish a total of 14 imprints including Rockridge Press, Garamond Press, Salinas Press, Healdsburg Press, and Althea Press.
The focus of the various Callisto imprints is on publishing books, which enrich the quality of people’s lives, one book at a time.
This makes the partnership a hand-in-glove fit with Exisle’s own commitment to publishing books for better living.

The arrangement greatly expands Exisle’s offering of health, wellness and self-help titles, which includes the best-selling The Happiness Trap and the award-winning The Healthy Skin Diet, as well as the authoritative and concise health titles from Sheldon Press.

Exisle’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Mark Robinson, says the arrangement will strengthen Exisle’s existing position as a leading publisher in the health and self-help category.

Based in California, Callisto Media specialise in developing titles using a customised data-mining algorithm to predict consumer demand.
The partnership with Exisle Publishing will see these books available through New Zealand booksellers.
Callisto, which has built its success on its capacity to react quickly to trends, has previously offered its titles through its print-on-demand online delivery model.

“We are excited to be working with a partner with a fresh innovative approach and to release around 50 of these quality titles over the next 12 months,” Robinson said.

Affordably priced, with the RRP for most titles below $20, the range includes titles on on-trend topics, ranging from Paleo to Raw Food.
New release titles from a range of Callisto Media imprints including; Rockridge Press; Mendocino Press; Hayward Press; and Drakes Press will be available nationally through Exisle Publishing from August 2014, with regular monthly releases thereafter.
