Delightful. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Latika was born in India and was adopted as a baby by an Australian family at eight months. After finishing her degree in communications at Charles Sturt University, she was a  political reporter at Radio 2UE, and in 2010 was awarded the Walkley Award for Young Journalism.  She has since worked as a political reporter for the ABC and is currently the National Political Reporter at Fairfax Media as well as the 1015 recipient of the Elizabeth O’Neill Journalism Award. She lives in Canberra.
