A gesture we feel is important, enabling as many people as possible to hear one of New Zealand's finest ever writers C.K. Stead. A stunning selection of Karl Stead’s work will be on display at the bookstall, the likes of which you may never see again, including copies of out-of-print books that have been specially secured for the occasion. |

That good old stick, CK Stead.
Can't remember what poem that was from ... something about him swimming after his period of ill health.
Anyway, one of my favourite writers, seen me through many years.
