The Tuwhare whanau and the Hone Tuwhare
Charitable Trust have
managed to purchase
Icon Hone Tuwhare's old home in Kaka Point,
south of Dunedin, thanks to the generosity of the Takutai Trust.
The
aim is to turn the cottage into a writer's residency.
In April,
Auckland's Art & Object will be offering a small selection of
Contemporary New Zealand artworks for auction, donated by artists
in support of the trust .
