Vacancy for Designer at Penguin Books NZ

 Penguin Group (NZ) is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, conceptual designer to work on our fantastic local children’s and adult titles.

When you become one of our Designers, you’ll use all your creativity and flair to design beyond the ordinary! 

As the ideal candidate you will have design qualifications, be skilled in industry standard software and have publication design experience. You will be organised with excellent interpersonal and communications skills and will have an ability to build, establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers.

You will have an eye for detail, the ability to work independently to deadline and a talent for ‘outside the square’ design.  A passion for book design is essential as is a responsible and positive outlook to work and life.
