He has also authored works on string
instrument technique and musical interpretation, and was the subject of a New
Zealand TV One documentary, “Manny and the Singh Brothers” (http://pacificscreen.com/nz-stories/).
His creative writing includes four novels,
one collection of stories, and four books of poetry. His poems and political
essays have been published in various journals and websites.
Venetian
Rogues is his fourth novel, perhaps best described
as a series of interconnected fables, infused with psychological depth and
poetic rhythm, and involving themes of caprice, seduction, art, betrayal and
love, set in the most enchanting, mysterious and improbable city in the world. A unique aspect of the book is the integral
inclusion of a series of artistic photographs specifically chosen for their
relation to the content of individual chapters.
