I hear on the grapevine today that the Herald on Sunday is dropping it's review section from its magazine.
What a shame, oh well Nicky Pellegrino's book page was the only reason I bought the Herald on Sunday so that will save me a few dollars a week !
Interestingly their backward step comes at a time of increasing print book sales and when in some other places newspaper are doubling their book review coverage.

Who is surprised? Book reviews hardly quailfy as sensational nonsense and tacky directions in the daily press.
Just typical! But, as you say, when printed book sales are picking up - in favour of ebooks as well, it seems! Three cheers for hard copies!
