Seeking a new Programme Manager

The New Zealand Society of Authors National Office is seeking a new staff member to manage its programmes and awards. After five and half years Tina Shaw has decided it is time to move on. Tina says the role has increased exponentially over the years "But it's time for a change. I've been very fortunate to work with some wonderful writers, mentors and assessors. It's been a very varied job and I've relished that."
This is a part-time position with hours to suit . Based at our National Office in Auckland, there is also the opportunity to do some work from home. An ability to self-manage with excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of the literary and publishing community are required. Some computer literacy is also needed.
CEO Maggie Tarver says that Tina has played a valuable part in the developoment of the Society's programmes and awards. "We are naturally very sorry to lose her, and we wish her all the very best in her new venture."
We would prefer to find a suitable appointee from within NZSA membership.
