Colman Getty hired by author Nick Hornby to handle upcoming media frenzy

The author Nick Hornby has hired Colman Getty to co-ordinate his international publicity as he faces an autumn media frenzy.

Penguin Books UK is about to publish his new book ‘Juliet, Naked' on 3 September. Hornby has also written the screenplay for a new film' An Education', which will be released in both the US and the UK in October.

Colman Getty's account director Lucy Chavasse will decide which interview requests Hornby accepts and oversee his overall global positioning. Other PR agencies and inhouse teams will publicise the book and film in the various countries they are being released.
Hornby previously worked with Chavasse when she was at Penguin Books. Hornby wrote well-known books High Fidelity, Fever Pitch and About A Boy. He is currently writing a blog for Penguin Books.
Colman Getty was founded by Dotti Irving, a former senior marketing executive at Penguin, and they look after the PR activities of many book trade entities including the Man Booker Prize.
