Rachael King in exalted company - Ann Packer's round-up of adult writers writing for younger readers
Ann Packer is one of our leading children's and YA book reviewers, (I rate her with Kate de Goildi and John McIntyre in this field). She has a page in the Books & Culture section of the New Zealand Listener that goes on sale tomorrow (issue date August 18) in which she reviews recent titles by five adult authors who also write for children. Four of them are internationally renowned writers - Russell Hoban, Philippa Gregory, Jodi Picoult ,John Boyne - Rachael King will be chuffed to be included with them.
