LONG LINES AND WIDE SMILES GREET FINAL HARRY POTTER

It happened world-wide, but here is the New York story from midnight Friday night............

And from Norwich in the UK, this story from the Guardian........
And at the Natural History Museum in London the author reads a chapter to a huge crowd (pic right) and then signs 1200 copies...................

There were plenty of older fans out there too as this story from California tells......

And finally two reviews from the Herald on Sunday online, one from a 10 year old fan, and the other from the doyen of NZ childrens' writers, Margaret Mahy, who liked it but found it
rather too long.

Yes and now hopefully HP fans around the world will continue on and look for some other fantasy and stumble on the likes of outstanding writers like MM and Sherryl Jordan, whose publishers I would like to assume have put aside some promotional money ready for the gap in the market! I know that Jordan's Denzil series is being reprinted, and about time too! (the boxed set is being launched in Tauranga in August...can't wait)
