2016 IBBY International Honour List

The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) New Zealand is pleased to announce that the following New Zealand titles will be included in the

2016 IBBY International Honour List.

The IBBY Honour List is a biennial selection of outstanding, recently published books honouring writers, illustrators and translators from the 75 IBBY member countries.

The 2016 IBBY Honour List will be introduced at the 35th IBBY International World Congress to be held in Auckland, 18 – 21 August 2016, with diplomas presented to those whose books have been included.

The books will be on display during the IBBY International World Congress, and the entire list housed in permanent collections of The International Youth Library, Munich, Germany, The Swiss Institute for Child and Youth Media in Zurich, The Bibiana Research Collection in Bratislava, Slovakia, IBBY Tokyo, Japan and the Northwestern University Library at Evanston, Illinois, USA. There will also be displays of the books at international conferences and book fairs.
