HC UK makes all e-books available for library loan

All of HarperCollins’ titles are now available in e-book and audiobook format for libraries in the UK via digital library supplier OverDrive.

Good EReader reported that the terms for the titles are the same as they are in the US – each copy can be lent out 26 times before its license expires and it has to be ordered again.

A spokesperson for HarperCollins told The Bookseller: “We’re delighted that readers will now be able to enjoy borrowing our e-books from libraries in the same way they can borrow physical copies.
“We’re making our full catalogue of e-books available with thousands of titles to choose from.”
