Joe
O'Loughlin is back with a pulse-stopping new case (an understatement !)
a whisper of
breath on the back of her neck, or a shadow in the corner of her eye – and now
her life is frozen. Her husband Daniel has been missing for more than a year.
Depressed and increasingly desperate, she seeks the help of clinical
psychologist Joe O'Loughlin.
I started reading this last night and have spent most of today finishing it. OMG, it is so scary, I couldn't put the book down.
Robotham is one of the great contemporary crime/thriller writers; he has visited NZ of course having been here for the Ngaio Marsh Crime Fiction Award a couple of years back. He divides his time between the UK and Australia and has twice won the Ned Kelly Award for best Australian crime fiction title. He
was shortlisted for the CWA Steel Dagger in 2007 and 2008 and was also
shortlisted for the inaugural ITV3 Thriller Awards.
Some other great contemporary writers have also heaped praise on Him incuding Stephen King, David Baldacci, Val McDermid, Peter James and Linwood Barclay.
