Is jazz the new poetry?

Intriguing developments over at Victoria University Press where Fergus Barrowman now finds himself running a record label. Jazz, world and classical specialists Rattle Records have been acquired by Victoria University.

A new poetry blog

Irrepressible poet and anthologist Paula Green has launched a blog dedicated to New Zealand poetry.

Craig Cliff's second novel has just been published. The Mannequin Makers was reviewed in the NZ Listener as 'tremendous, darkly entertaining and original from start to finish.'
 
The Demolition of the Century, Duncan Sarkies' second novel, is out now.
 
MA graduate Tracy Farr has released her debut novel The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt. It tells the story of the first theremin player of the twentieth century: "From the obscurity of a Perth boarding school to a glittering career on the world stage."
