Biographer Joanne Drayton has bookshop audience spellbound

Last evening at Time Out Bookstore in Auckland's Mt.Eden you could have heard a pin drop for about 45 minutes while Joanne Drayton, author of NZ Post Book Awards shortlist title, The Search for Anne Perry, talked about the research and writing of her latest biography. It was riveting stuff, wonderfully delivered, which brought her a huge round of applause at the end.(Harper Collins NZ August 2012 $45).

Too much to take in.

I'm going to go have a wee sit down somewhere quiet.
