When the Weather outside is frightful...

Winter. It’s the time of year that readers cherish. This is when we can hibernate out of the the cold, and burrow into those books that have been on our bedside table since Christmas. This may be nice for our customers, but it can be a worry for our store’s income!
We spoke to Rachel Eadie (2016 Young Bookseller of the Year) from Scorpio Books in Christchurch and Gareth and Louise Ward of Wardini Books in Havelock North (and now Napier!), as well as quizzing ourselves at Time Out Bookstore about about how we entice customers to spend during the winter months.
