Children's book publishers, agents, authors, and artists from around the world descended on Bologna, Italy, this week for the 51st annual Bologna Children's Book Fair. For those who couldn't attend, here's an overview of the fair in photos. more


German Airline Worker Strike Disrupts Some Post-Bologna Travel 

A trade union strike among German airline workers forced Lufthansa to cancel 600 flights on Thursday, complicating return trips for some attendees at the Bologna fair. "There were no flights to be had on any airline in Bologna," said agent Rosemary Stimola, who ended up taking a car service to Milan, and catching a flight from there. more
