Due to public demand and an abundance of brilliant
writers with new books, there will be TWO delicious events this year, to feed
the body & the mind.
Both will be held at the Raye Freedman Arts Centre,
Epsom Girls on Sunday afternoons, with a dozen or so NZ women writers in each
and a long break in the middle for a divinely indulgent afternoon tea.
Alongside Emily Perkins, Kim Evans (from Little &
Friday) and Tina Grenville, we are delighted to confirm that three VUP authors
will be coming up from Wellington especially for the 19 August event: poets
Helen Heath & Lynn Davidson, along with exciting new novelist Gigi Fenster
who is receiving rave reviews for her debut novel The Intentions Book.
Dates: Sunday 19 August and Sunday 4 November, 1pm to
5.30pm.
There is a stunning selection of food, fiction,
fashion & gardens in the pipeline for November.
Tickets: $55 (includes sumptuous afternoon tea) from
The Women’s Bookshop 3764399, books@womensbookshop.co.nz,
www.womensbookshop
