Best Books of 2011 - Dominion Post

Two books on that list are exciting, partly because I didn't know of them.
Marshall's The Larnachs will be a must read for me, as will Sarah Quigley's The Conductor.
Both are on topics that have interested me over the years, while Marshall is 'sort of' starting to fill the gap for me that Gee has left, and if that is the Quigley who pens the writerly/bookish column in the Saturday Press, then I've always enjoyed those. Is she that columnist do you know? (I can't remember the name of the movie that dealt with the same topic?)
