Bon Voyage PANZ President Peter Dowling - good luck at Guadalajara

PANZ News

PANZ wishes PANZ President Peter Dowling well as he heads to Mexico next week to man the New Zealand stand at the Guadalajara International Book Fair.

Running from 25 November – 3 December in 2017 the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) is the largest book fair in Latin America and is often described as the gateway to Latin America. The fair is aimed at professionals as well as the general public which sets it apart from many other book fairs around the globe. With business as one of its main goals, it is also an amazing cultural festival in which literature plays a major role.

In addition to his own Oratia books Peter will be representing a wide range of titles from seven New Zealand publishers. These include children’s books from David Ling Publishers, Millwood Press, Scholastic New Zealand, Black Chook Books and Upstart Press, literary works from Upstart Press and Awa Press in addition to Te Reo Singalong books from newest PANZ member EduMaxi Limited.

Good luck Peter, we look forward to reporting about the fair on your return!
