Readings from Old Devonport and Open Afternoon
Sunday 12 October 2014 |
Friends of the Michael King Writers’ Centre present readings from old Devonport and an open afternoon at the Centre during the Auckland Heritage Festival.
Look around the historic Signalman’s House, check the
collection of literary memorabilia and celebrate our local literary heritage
with readings from old Devonport and North Shore. The centre is half way up
the road to the summit of Takarunga Mt Victoria in Devonport.
Park on top of Takarunga Mt Victoria or on nearby Kerr Street.
There is limited parking on the summit road. Or catch the ferry from the
city.
