Tuesday Poem this week features the new poetry series HOOPLA
and in particular one of the HOOPLA poets Helen Rickerby. Her Mākaro Press
publisher Mary McCallum is the TP hub editor this week, so she has chosen Helen
and her poem Symbols
that make up the breaking girl. The poem appears in Helen's new collection Cinema.
Cinema is one three books launched with the new
HOOPLA series - the other two are: Bird murder by Stefanie Lash and Heart
absolutely I can by Michael Harlow. Mary talks about the success of HOOPLA
series which launches three poets at the same time: a new poet, and a mid-career
and late career poet, and aims to attract poetry readers with its pocketable,
