The Return of Paddington Bear

Children’s author Michael Bond has written a new Paddington Bear book, which will be published by HarperCollins Children’s Books in November.
Love From Paddington is a series of letters from Paddington to his Aunt Lucy back in Peru, recounting his escapades following his arrival in London and his first encounter with the Brown family at Paddington Station.

HarperCollins publishing and creative director Rachel Denwood acquired the world English rights for Love From Paddington, which will be published in an illustrated hardback gift edition, from Hilary Delamere at The Agency.

The new book coincides with the "Paddington" film, starring Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Sally Hawkins, JimBroadbent, Julie Walters and Colin Firth, which will be released in the UK on 28th November.

Michael Bond, born in 1926, published the first Paddington book, A Bear Called Paddington, in 1958 and his books have never been out of print. He was awarded the OBE in 1997.
