Sunday 25 March, 2-4pm
14a Esmonde Road, Takapuna
The country’s oldest literary museum, where Frank Sargeson lived
and wrote from the 1940s until his death in 1982, will be open to the
public as part of NZ Book Month. Restored by the Sargeson Trust,
with the assistance of Hayden and Rollett, this beautifully restored
home is a significant part of the history of the North Shore.
This celebrates Sargeson’s 109th birthday and the publication his letters edited and selected by Sarah Shieff.
