What a year this is going to be! The BCBF is so very pleased to announce the opening of a whole new hall (32) dedicated to new media and publishing, TV, apps and the whole new mash up in the world of kid’s content. So for you all to enjoy here are some highlights you cannot miss...
Sunday 3 April
All things digital always open a day early with the 3rd Dust or Magic Bologna MasterClass held in together with the Children’s Technology Review and the chairman of the Jury of the BolognaRagazzi Digital Award, Mr. Warren Buckleitner. Three hours of some of the best showcases, panel and special presentations around digital media and app development.

Monday 4 April to Wednesday 6 April
Come visit the all new Bologna Digital Media experience, which you can now find in Hall 32, located very close to the main entrance.

In the exhibition space you will meet new start-ups alongside tech giants who are shaping the agenda for this new era of kid’s content and also providing it with a bridge point to the print and digital worlds. New for this year are game and education app developers that will bring a whole new dimension to this growing and vibrant space.

Come and join us for the Keynote opening of the hall at 3:30 p.m. on Monday with Microsoft, Google and Disney executives who will share their vision of kid’s technology and the content that drives them.

You can see this and many more talks on the first preview of the Digita Café programme, this includes the massively popular opening session on the BolognaRagazzi Digital Award winners from 2016 presented in the very first session in the Café by Warren Buckleitner at 10 a.m. on Monday 4 April.

Alongside the Digital Café we will have the new Digital Conference Room for special events from a whole range of companies sign up for the following programmes below from IRFI and Q-Tales, PubCoder and StoryDocks
