Publishing New Zealand in its past and present glory

The Read, Booksellers NZ

Welcome to our second highlights piece about publishing in New Zealand in 2016. After delving into fiction titles last week, this week we can see New Zealand’s culture displayed in all its colour and wonder. Cookbooks, art books, photographic odysseys, literary biographies and more will all be vying for attention on our shops’ bookshelves this year. All of them with a unique New Zealand flavour.

Thank you to Tracey Borgfeldt from Bateman, Margaret Samuels from Auckland University Press, Robbie Burton from Potton & Burton, Hannah Newport-Watson  from Te Papa Press, Mary McCallum from Mākaro Press, David Fulton from Scholastic NZ and JD Nodder and the team at Huia Publishers for their input into this article.
