Auckland Libraries and the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival are delighted to present a free series of preview events for the 2013 festival.

Enjoy a glass of Crossroads wine and hear our presenters tell you about their picks from the fabulous line-up of writers.
This event will recur with a different line-up of speakers every Tuesday in April.

Session two, Tuesday 16 April:

• Festival Director Anne O'Brien will host
• Susanna Andrew, books editor at Metro magazine, will talk about her top picks Fleur Adcock, Bill Manhire and Pankaj Mishra
• Anton Blank (Ngati Porou/Ngati Kahungumu), writer and editor of the Maori literary journal Ora Nui, will tell you about his picks Alison Jones, Kuni Jenkins, Aleks Krotoski and Wayne Macauley
• Writer Sue Orr on Kate Atkinson, Sylvie Simmons and Anne Salmond
