Crowds formed outside Apple stores around the country Friday morning as fans rushed to buy the new iPad, which was released at 8 a.m. The new gadget, which starts at $499 for a 16GB model, will have a high-definition screen and better camera. But not everyone is queuing up to buy the new tablet. In the U.S., many people protesting hazardous conditions at Apple factories in China are showing up to demonstrate against the computer giant.
