The Philippa Pearce Memorial Lecture - a reminder

This is a quick reminder that seats are still available for FRANK COTTRELL BOYCE’s Philippa Pearce Lecture - Rowing on the River of Time The lecture will take place at 5:00 on the 11th of September at Homerton College, Cambridge. Places at the lecture are free but must be booked at www.pearcelecture.com If you have already booked seats, please be aware that we normally do not issue e-tickets until a day or two before the lecture.   PHILIPPA PEARCE died in 2006, but respect and affection for her writing is as strong as ever. In her memory, a series of lectures is now underway, each intended to celebrate excellence in writing for children and to emphasize its continuing vital importance.
